What is a Pre-Order?
A pre-order is an order placed for a product that is not yet available or in stock. By pre-ordering, you can ensure that you are one of the first customers to receive the product when it becomes available or in stock.

Why should I pre-order?
By pre-ordering you're getting yourself ahead of the queue of people waiting for the product to come back-in-stock. It also means that you're claiming the product for yourself even before the product is back-in-stock.

Am I guaranteed to receive the product if I pre-order?
Yes, pre-ordered products are guaranteed and are also given priority. In the case that the manufacturer or supplier cancels an item, we will refund your order in full.

How does a Birde Pre-Order work?
You can place an order for a product with a pre-order status by adding it to your cart and checking out. You will be charged the full amount upfront, including the cost for delivery. We will then dispatch your complete order once the product is available and in stock.

How do I know if a product has a pre-order status?
On the product's page on our website, rather than having a "add to cart" button, a product with a pre-order status will have a "pre-order now" button.

What is meant by estimated arrival date?
It is important to note that we may not always have a confirmed date for when a product may be in stock when we make it available for pre-order. While the estimated arrival date is typically accurate, freight forwarders may change delivery dates depending on a multitude of factors. To stay informed, be sure to check the product's page on our website for the most up-to-date information on a product's availability, and we will also keep our customers informed via email.

What happens if the arrival date for a pre-order product changes?
The dates we publish on our website are based on information we receive from publishers or manufacturers and could be subject to change. If the scheduled arrival date of a product that you have pre-ordered changes, or if the release is cancelled all together, we will notify you via the email address on file.

How long will it take for me to receive the product I pre-ordered once it is available and in stock?
We aim to dispatch orders within 2-4 business days. You will receive a shipping notification email with the tracking details once your order has been processed. Please note that we ship in ascending date order (first order in, first order out).

What are the delivery options?
Once all of the products you have ordered are available and in stock, if you would like to receive them as quickly as possible, we recommend choosing the Express Shipping option. This option typically arrives 1-3 business days after dispatch (subject to the carrier and any other delays).
Alternatively, you can choose the Standard Shipping option, which takes around 2-9 business days.

Should I get in contact for a more precise delivery estimate for my order?
Upon receiving your pre-order request, we will send you an order confirmation via email which will include your order's estimated dispatch date. We will be in touch with you if there are any changes to the estimated dispatch date included in your order confirmation, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Can I include in-stock products with my pre-order?
Yes, you can! If you are ordering a product with a pre-order status at the same time as a product which is in stock, we will hold your order until all of the products are in stock and available to ship.
If you would like the products which are in stock to be sent separately or in advance of the product with a pre-order status, please submit them as a separate order.

Can I modify my order which includes a product with a pre-order status?
In some instances, you can. If this is something you would like to do, please contact us as soon as possible with your request.

Can I cancel my order which includes a product with a pre-order status?
In some instances, you can. If this is something you would like to do, please contact us as soon as possible with your request.
